Yet More


This morning I was working at the library before the building was open and through a window I happened to see the church across the lawn glowing as the rising sun struck it. I went outside and took these pictures in the few minutes before the light changed.



In the picture immediately above, that rocky structure in the lower right corner is a shrine from the 1920s representing a French peasant girl adoring an apparition.



The kneeling girl-statue is exposed to the weather but the apparition-statue is sheltered within its grotto and shows much less wear and tear.
