It was time to disassemble the Christmas tree that went up at the party reported earlier here and here. A big crew puts the tree up and a small crew takes it down, the annual arrangement. My daughter made the egg-carton-and-glitter ornament in preschool roughly thirty years ago. It has held up admirably.
There was time for a little gardening. The roses my daughter cares for (and will soon be pruning) needed trimming, and I clipped a few of the small winter roses.
