The three plates below bear printed dedications to Cardinal Francesco Barberini (1597-1679), nephew of Pope Urban VIII (ruled 1623-44). Cardinal Barberini came to power a full decade after Cherubino's death in 1615. These dedications appear on authorized reprints of Cherubino's engravings produced from the original plates by his heirs in the late 1620s.
